PAT MACKIN Pat Mackin has been playing saxophone professionally for 40 years as of 2010. He has played with many great bands in the Twin Cities such as “the legendary “TC Jammers”, RCA recording artists “The Daisy Dillman Band” and a 14 year stint with “Mick Sterling and the Stud Brothers” just to name few. He is also a recipient of various Minnesota Music Awards including “Best Independent Recording”. Living in Hawaii in the late 70s, Pat’s band “The Maui Players” served as the backup band to guitar virtuoso “George Benson” for a tour of the islands. Pats jazz fusion band “Northcoast” has been performing locally since 1987, with David Gonzalez on bass and with 2 CD’s to its credit. As a recent addition, Pat’s great soulful sax adds “wings” to the Routine’s power-funk sound. |

PANCHO TORRES Keyboard Player/Producer Pancho Torres was born and raised in Mexico City where he attended the National School of Music-University of Mexico. Founder member of the band ZIG ZAG one of the primetime and hottest rock bands of the 70’s in México. He participated on Mexican-BROADWAY Productions of the Musicals “GREASE”, “JESUSCHRIST SUPERSTAR”. “GODSPELL” and “THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW”. Moved to Minnesota in 1980 still with the ZIG ZAG band and toured the 5 state area and Canada. Currently playing with local bands in the hot music area of Minneapolis since 1988. Along with singer RAVEN WOLFE he recorded an original CD in 1995 entitled “Some Things Change”. With 30 years experience he has also produced dozens of recording projects for Bands and Singer/Song-Writers. |
| MARIO DAWSON Drummer/Producer Drummer since the tender age of 2 years old. Grew up playing in Chicago. Mario has performed with R. KELLY, BRITNEY SPEARS, ALEXANDER O’NEAL, PAUL PETERSON AND DONNY OSMOND, MARY MARY and Musical Director for JAMES GREAR CO. at Excelcior, and New Salem church.Mario is one of the most powerful drummers of the highly recognized Minneapolis Sound where his performances range from LES NUBIANS, SOUL TIGHT COMMITTEE AND JAYBEE AND THE ROUTINE amount many others.Mario has his own project with the band THE NEW CONGRESS where he is writing, producing, drumming. |

Patrick T. Guitar Player One of the Twin Cities’ area busiest Guitarists. Patrick currently, beside with the Routine he performs week after week with Casablanca Orchestra - CBO. Pat has perform just about in every nightclub in the Twin Cities. Also performed for the presidential inauguration in Washington DC. Pat brings to the Routine that thick rock and funk guitar vibe that blends just right with Jellybean Johnson's power sound. Pat's solos are tasteful and fast! His arpeggio technique while soloing is magnificent which brigs every note accountable for the driving of his incredible creations on each and every solo! Patrick is definitely an asset to the POWER funk Routine-SOUND. |
